About the Wine Maker
There is no doubt that the wines from Annette Hilberg and Michele Pasquero rank among the finest of their kind in Piemonte. These wines hail not from the more renowned villages such as La Morra or Neive, but from the charming hamlet of Priocca, situated approximately 15km northwest of Barbaresco.
The vineyards boast a picturesque setting, are organically farmed, yield incredibly low quantities, and the winemaking approach is staunchly non-interventionist, eschewing fining or filtering to preserve the wine's integrity. The outcome is a collection of wines that are rich in flavor yet exhibit a beautiful balance, seamless flow, and the quintessential character of Piemonte.
