Frescobaldi, Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2000
The Wine
92 Points Wine Enthusiast 'Seductive floral aromas are jazzed up by healthy red-fruit scents, and once you get to the mouth the wine becomes precise and tight. This is a defined Brunello with clear plum and black cherry flavors that are sweetened by hints of almond candy and red licorice. Sturdy, mildly tannic and full. Should be just right in about three years.' 7/2005
Wine has been in our temperature-controlled storage since it was originally released. Slight stains to label. Levels are impeccable!

About the Wine Maker
One of the oldest Italian wine companies is something of a paradox. The company remains under the control of a family that traces its history back at least seven centuries. Despite its long history, the family has consistently been at the forefront of modernizing the Italian wine industry. They have been producing wine since the 1300s and offer an exemplary range of wines from their estates at Castello di Nipozzano, Pomino, and Caste lGiocondo.
