Boscarelli Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2019
The Wine
93 Point James Suckling 'An understated Vino Nobile with discreet minerals, spiced plums, cumin and tarry savoriness that needs some time to pull together and open up further. Quite nicely chewy and tight, with a full-bodied palate and a clean, mineral finish. A little demanding now, but shows potential.'

About the Wine Maker
Egidio Corradi's vision materialized in the 1960s when he established the Boscarelli philosophy of crafting distinguished wine in the Montepulciano region. The yearly variations and the modest size of the vineyards posed a significant challenge to winemaking in the village.
Today, the third generation of the family continues to craft the wines and introduce them to the market. They employ native grape varieties such as Mammolo, Canaiolo, and Colorino. For cultivation, Boscarelli also adopts international varieties like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are frequently used in the renowned 'Super Tuscan' wines.
Their profound respect for tradition and the local terroir has led to a collection of wines that are authentic to their type and, it goes without saying, excellently crafted. Boscarelli has evolved into an award-winning winery, acclaimed by globally esteemed critics such as Wine Spectator, Robert Parker, Decanter, and James Suckling
