Bink 'Mirrors' Zinfandel 2022
The Wine
100% Zinfandel was sourced from a dry-grown, 60-year-old block in Watervale in the Clare Valley. The north-south running vines are rooted in sand over brown ironstone. Fruit was picked at the end of March and vinified with 50% whole bunches. After 10 days on skins the wine was pressed to new, untoasted French foudre (3000 litre) and remained there for eight months on lees before being racked to tank and bottled in late January.
