About the Wine Maker 
Nestled in the intense sunlight at the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Argentina, the Alamos vineyards of Mendoza flourish. For over a century, the Catena family has cultivated these lands, and the diligent efforts of Nicholas and Laura in the past two decades have elevated the estate to one of Argentina's most renowned.
The vineyards, perched at altitudes ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 feet, rank among the world's highest, benefiting from temperature variations that allow a gradual, flavor-enhancing grape maturation.
The enduring practice of handpicking grapes guarantees the selection of the finest quality for their wines. Rich with the essences of blackberries, dark cherries, currants, and spices, the wine exudes a fruitcake-like note, ideal for a chilly winter evening alongside a hearty steak or grilled sausages, offering a soft and harmonious experience.
