The Wine

Falerio is a Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) in the Marche region of Italy. It's specifically known as Falerio dei Colli Ascolani or simply Falerio. This DOC is known for its white wines, primarily made from the Pecorino, Trebbiano, and Passerina grape varieties.

The Ciu Ciu Falerio Bianco is a blend made from all the white grapes grown on the Ciu Ciu estate, including the very rare Passerina, in addition to Trebbiano and Pecorino.

The wine exudes an inviting appeal, offering exquisite aromas of lychee, peach, and honeysuckle. With its unexpectedly medium-bodied profile, it presents a pleasant weight on the palate. It pairs wonderfully with a variety of seafood or light pasta dishes.

Due in store early May 2025 but available for pre-purchase now!

About the Wine Maker

Established in 1970, this organic estate is located in Contrada Ciafone, along the Adriatic coast of Le Marche, and is currently managed by brothers Massimiliano and Walter Bartolomei. Nestled among the rolling hills of the Offida region in Le Marche, the vineyards benefit from the closeness to the Mediterranean Sea and an elevation of 300 meters, creating a distinctive micro-climate that provides excellent conditions for vine growth.
