Harkham 'Aziza's' Shiraz 2022
The Wine
Produced from ancient vines in Broke and Pokolbin, it captures the expected richness and flavor of the Hunter Valley, while also delivering a surprising brightness and freshness. The grapes are meticulously handpicked and destemmed, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks with bi-daily pump overs. After spending eight days on the skins, the wine is pressed and transferred to French oak barrels to age for eight months, undergoing spontaneous malolactic fermentation. No cultured yeast, no sulfur, no fining, and no filtering.
The quality of the 2022 is exceptional, making it the most remarkable release yet from Harkham.
No added sulphur & Kosher certified.
