The Wine
A robust, well-structured, and full-bodied red wine. Expressive even in its youth, it glides elegantly across the palate, a dance of withered flowers, small ripe fruits, licorice, and leather. The taste is vibrant, yet warm, appropriately tannic, and never harsh. A traditional Barolo that astonishes with its immediate accessibility and remarkable potential for evolution.

About the Wine Maker
When Nadia Curto encouraged her father, Marco, to label their wine with the family name, he was hesitant. Despite his pride in their produce, he understood that Barolo is notoriously challenging to master. The wine is unpredictable and temperamental; its essential Nebbiolo grapes are delicate and high in tannins, requiring years to mature. As Marco aged, he saw this shift as a monumental task. Nevertheless, Nadia was determined. She toiled under the Piedmontese sun, engaging in conversations with her father, gradually gaining his trust. Her opportunity came when her uncle, famed Barolo winemaker Elio Altare, offered her a position. Seizing it, Nadia gained invaluable insights. Eventually, Marco came to share her dream. Now, they collaborate closely, with Marco managing the vineyards and Nadia directing the winemaking process.
