Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio 2023
The Wine
Fruit for this wine comes from the famed Friuli Grave district, where Pinot Grigio has long thrived thanks to a cool climate and gravelly, alluvial soil. The wine was aged for six months on the lees to develop richness followed by three months in bottle before release. An elegant nose of peach and citrus aromas accented by nutmeg leads to a crisp, subtle, well-rounded and textured palate with pear and stone fruit flavors laced with orange zest. Super sessionable with ample complexity!

About the Wine Maker
Italo Cescon is a family owned and operated winery established in 1957. Located in the famed Fruili region of north-eastern Italy, it was foundered by Italo Cescon. It is now managed by his wife Chiara and 3 children Gloria, Graziella and Domenico.
The business now owns 6 different estates in the region, each having its own particular climate and characters. The soils consist of alluvial sands/gravel due to the Piave river frequently flooding the fields and vineyards, over the centuries which infuses the wines their unique flavours.
