"Grown near the Loir River (that flows into the Loire) this characterful wine is reminiscent of a number of lighter styled French reds. Think Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Pinot Noir but a little more pepper and spice. An alluring and distinctive wine that shows great freshness. Lends it self to a chill and a charutereie plate - but versatile enough to be matched with a vast array of cuisines." TC
