The Wine

Vinification is meticulously managed in stainless steel tanks over 18-25 days. The wine matures in oak barrels, with a third being new, for six months.

Chateau l’Église boasts a rich, deep ruby hue and a bouquet brimming with vanilla and toasted scents. It delights the palate with its refreshing taste, featuring notes of cocoa and red berries. The wine has a robust structure with well-defined tannins, culminating in a lengthy, smooth, and gratifying finish.

About the Wine Maker

Château l'Eglise has been managed by the Dieuxyssies family since 1880. The vineyard extends across 28 hectares of clay-limestone and sandy, silty soils. The grape composition is 40% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc.
