Chateau Lafleur Gazin 2015
The Wine
95 Pts James Suckling 'Deep-set, dark stony aromas with hints of graphite, before dark cherries and plums frame a measured approach to oak. It rolls out very smooth tannins on the palate amid fresh blackberry and dark-plum fruits. Some warming oak spices to close. Finishes really fresh. This is impressive. Best from 2021.

About the Wine Maker
Located on the northern boundary of the Pomerol plateau, flanked by Château Gazin and Château La Fleur-Pétrus, this wine has been under the stewardship of Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1976 and became part of their family holdings in 2021.
The vineyard, with vines averaging 30 years old, is sited on diverse soils ranging from gravel to clay and silt, which contribute to the wine's elegant Merlot profile.
Traditional vineyard management and meticulous vinification result in a wine that is both plump and supple, characterized by ripe fruit flavors and smooth tannins.
