Novum Pinot Noir Marlborough 2016
“Beautifully expressive and refined with sleek black cherry and blackberry fruit. It’s rich and seductive but also has freshness and detail. Great structure and harmony too. There’s some black fruit richness but also lovely red fruit crunch. Such a textural wine with real interest and detail, with opulence but also some seriousness.” JAMIE GOODE – UK
Parent Pommard 1er Cru Les Chanlins 2015
The wine spends 16 to 18months in 40% new oak large format barrels with regular pigeage. It is deeply flavoured and enveloping with intense black cherry, roasted beets and earth. Beautifully balanced with flavours lingering long on the palate. Super soft tannins. It is nothing short of perfect if you ask us!!
Vinea Marson Grazia 2014 Heathcote, VIC
40% Pinot bianco, 26% Malvasia d'Istria, 20% Friulano, 14% Picolit

Vinea Marson’s 3rd vintage of this intriguing and complex blend pays homage to our roots in north-eastern Italy. Pale green in colour, the Grazia exhibits attractive aromas of preserved lemon, citrus peel and orange blossom with a hint of flinty struck match. With an intriguing textural palate reminiscent of the multi-blend wines of Friuli, this medium bodied wine displays characters of peach, melon and lemon with a creamy almond finish.

Vinea Marson Rose 2015
75% Sangiovese, 25% Nebbiolo. Heathcote

The pale onion skin colour of this Rose with slight pink tinges gives a hint as to the savoury European style of this beautiful food friendly wine.On the nose, notes of strawberries and cream are evident as well as enticing savoury herbal characters. This wine exhibits a savoury palate of dried herbs from the Nebbiolo and gives way to flavours of ripe strawberries and cherries from the Sangiovese. A hint of almond kernel is evident on this wine’s long finish.

Vinea Marson Shiraz Viognier 2013 Heathcote, VIC
93% Shiraz, 7% Viognier

This estate wine has a deep red hue with blue tinges. On the nose a slight graphite quality is followed by attractive savoury notes of olive tapenade and a powerful core of dark fruits. A chalky palate with intense, ripe blackberry and blueberry flavours follows with integrated French oak on its long palate. This savoury wine displays firm and long tannins and concludes with great length. The flavour and textural complexity of the 2013 Shiraz Viognier exhibits Mario Marson’s skill as a winemaker and is indicative of the elegant Rhone-style reds that can be produced in Heathcote.

A pale partridge eye pink with perfumed bouquet, which follows with elegant summer fruits. The palate is refined and elegant with faint cherry nuances and beautifully integrated balancing acidity. This superb rose is made from a blend of old vines grown on the Esclans estate by Burgundian winemaking techniques resulting in a rounded and expressive Provence rose with unusual complexity.

L'Aumerade, Cuvée Marie-Christine Cotes de Provence Rosé 'Cru Classe' 2017

This is a 'Cru Classe' Rose. Soft - light pink in colour. Very aromatic nose dominated by fresh fruit and flavors of grenadine. A full bodied and fruity but dry rosé goes well with Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. If you indulge in Rose's the like of Ott, D'Esclan etc, this will sit well in your spectrum.
